Help with Hemlu for Apple TV and iPhone.
Getting started
- Download Hemlu from the App Store on your iPhone.
- Allow calendar access, choose your location for the weather and adjust the design.
- Install Hemlu from the App Store on your Apple TV, signed in with the same Apple Account as your iPhone.
- Done. Your settings appear automatically, synced through your private iCloud account.
Frequently asked questions
My Apple TV doesn’t show any events
Make sure your iPhone and Apple TV are signed in with the same Apple Account, and that you allowed access under “Calendar” in Hemlu and selected at least one calendar. Syncing runs through iCloud and can take a moment.
The Fitness view is empty
Fitness data comes from Apple Health and only appears once you have allowed access to Apple Health in Hemlu under Settings › Health. Your rings and workouts appear on Apple TV after a short sync.
The “Sonos” tab is missing
The Sonos tab appears on Apple TV as soon as you have connected your Sonos account in Hemlu under Settings › Sonos. If it is still missing, make sure iPhone and Apple TV are signed in with the same Apple Account, and write to us through the support form.
The “Home” tab is empty
This needs a home set up in the Apple Home app. Set one up there, then allow Hemlu to access Apple Home in your Apple TV’s settings.
How do I delete my data?
All data lives only in your own iCloud account. Revoking the apps’ access in your device settings or deleting the apps is enough. See the privacy policy for details.
